MEMBERS HAVE THE FOLLOWING RIGHTS
The right to vote, the right to be elected and the right to vote;
Participate in member conferences, academic annual meetings and various activities organized by the association, and get preferential rights to the information compiled by the association and other services;
Have the suggest and supervise the work of the Association;
Check the association’s articles of association, rules and regulations, membership roster, director roster, standing director roster, apply for access to meeting minutes, meeting resolutions, meeting minutes, and have the right to know the financial audit report;
Proposal right, suggestion right and supervision right;
Voluntary membership, free withdrawal;
Laws, regulations, rules and other rights stipulated by the Association’s constitution.
Members fulfill the following obligations
Accept the constitution of the association, implement the resolutions of the association, and safeguard the legal rights and interests of the association;
Care about the construction of the association, actively participate in various activities organized by the association, and undertake the tasks assigned by the association;
Report the situation to the Association in a timely manner and provide relevant information;
Pay the dues in accordance with regulations and on time;
Other obligations stipulated by laws, regulations, rules and the articles of association.
MEMBERSHIP AND WITHDRAWAL
The association relies on members to run the association and implements the principle of openness. The Early Childhood Education Association is the home of early childhood education institutions and related practitioners. Early childhood education institutions and related practitioners are welcome to join the Singapore Early Childhood Education Association.
Membership
All educational institutions, groups or individuals that apply to participate in this association should submit a written application, provide relevant certificates, fill in the registration form, and be reviewed and approved by the association’s standing council to issue a membership certificate.
Withdrawal
Fill in the withdrawal application form and hand in the membership certificate.
Members who hold positions in the association or are handling the affairs entrusted by the association need to be approved by the executive council and complete various handovers.
CANCEL MEMBERSHIP AND DELIST
If a member does not pay membership fees or participates in the activities of the Association for one year, it shall be deemed to have withdrawn automatically. The automatic withdrawal unit will be announced on the association website and newspapers.
If members of the Association take advantage of their business scale, market share and other advantages to exclude, restrict, or suppress other members from participating in various activities of the Association, the Standing Council will issue a warning or cancel membership after a vote.
If a member seriously violates national laws, regulations, rules, or the articles of association of the Association, the Standing Council will be removed after a vote, cancel their membership and publicize.
If a member is dissatisfied with the decision of the board of directors to cancel membership, they may file an appeal, which shall be answered by the board of directors and, if necessary, submitted to the general meeting for deliberation and reply.
The association has established a complete membership roster and member integrity files, and adjusted in time according to changes.
ARTICLE 3 STANDARDS OF MEMBERSHIP FEES
President and Vice President Unit: SGD 380/year;
Governing Unit: SGD 300/year;
Member unit: SGD 200/year;
Individual membership: SGD 50/year.
ARTICLE 4 COLLECTION OF MEMBERSHIP FEES
PMembership dues are the main source of income for the various activities of the Association, and each member unit has the responsibility and obligation to pay dues on time.
The time for collection of membership dues is: within one month after being approved to join the membership, the membership dues of the year will be paid, and the month after that is the time for the member unit to pay the membership dues.
The dues are made by bank transfer or cheque. Cash is not accepted.
